Reader is a fast and minimalistic PDF viewer with powerful controls. This is the full version of Reader and includes basic annotations including highlighting and yellow sticky notes.
Minimalist design with powerful tools for reading, particularly academic documents:
- Use cmd-F after selecting text to view only the sentences in the document with the selected text.
- Press ‘H’ to highlight selected text in yellow.
- Use cmd-shift-h to highlight selected text in grey.
- Press ‘h’ without selecting text to view all highlights.
- Select text and press ‘X’ to strikethrough with a red line.
- Press ESC to enter and exit fullscreen mode.
- In regular view, display a single page; in fullscreen view, display two pages.
- Use the spacebar (or arrow keys) for page down navigation.
White background in full-screen view since documents are usually white and therefore provides a clean reading space without a harsh black border.
