Perfectly Clear Workbench Overview

Perfectly Clear Workbench is a photo correction application for macOS built by EyeQ. Its focus is narrower than a general photo editor: instead of giving you every tool and letting you find the right combination, it analyzes each image and applies corrections automatically — exposure, color balance, contrast, tint, sharpness — based on what that specific photo actually needs.

The corrections come from research into how the human eye perceives an image versus how a camera records it. Cameras flatten what our eyes handle naturally, so the app works backward from that gap rather than applying a uniform preset across a set. Two photos from the same shoot get different treatment if they need it.

Workbench is the desktop version aimed at people processing volume. It handles batches, lets you build and save your own correction presets, and gives you manual control over every automatic adjustment when the automatic result isn’t quite right. There are also dedicated portrait tools — skin smoothing, blemish removal, eye and teeth enhancement — that trigger only on detected faces.
